Characteristics of a Suicide Bomber!

    Appealing Recruit Characteristics
Innocence of Common Dismay

“The transformation from normal faith to violent radicalism is the notion common to the madness of political rationality.” Thomas “Hawk” Hellstrom

When we think of suicide bombers today, most people in western society would think of crazed Islamic martyrs, psychopathic fundamentalists or poor and desperate individuals. No matter the motives, the average individual will never really be the smarter when asking who the suicide bombers are.

There seems to be more interest in knowing why suicide bombers would kill themselves and others with impunity. What motive forms the impetus for the act?

Suicide bombing is not a flash news trend. Throughout history, there have been many different examples from many different ideologies and religions that have used suicide attacks as a tactic. Predating into the Roman Empire, sacrificial subjects have offered their lives as a tactical military importance. Jewish zealots known as “Sicaris” used suicide attacks defending themselves.[1] The Japanese used “Kamikaze pilots” in world war two.[2] The Vietcong used suicide bombing during the Vietnam War.

We can only imagine and assume that such an act can only be committed by a mad and horrible person. The truth is far more normal but disturbing than the latter. These attritions of human acts cannot be described by single states of madness but by the combination of broad states of social ignorance, subjective occupation and similarities to co- narcissistic loyalties. There is nothing sociopathic about suicide terrorism as it is an ultimate self sacrifice rather than intentions of pure desperate suicide. It’s the ultimate purification of themselves from the sins and ‘evil’ enemies of this world. Sociopaths are only capable of sacrificing others to achieve their ends without placing themselves at risk at absolutely no emotional expense. There are sociopathic similarities of leaders who exploit people that commit suicide bombings. Co-narcissists are the over idealistic persons that would follow leaders using any means to achieve the goals or supply for the grandiose agendas they follow. Politics and religion is merely a means to achieve control and influence followers willing to sacrifice. Those who self radicalize and influence others are themselves influenced by a jargon of angered supporters of action against occupiers.

The grandiose narcissists or even co-narcissists, whether civilian or official, can be just as much an unwitting recruiter as the deep followers and supporters of religious or political extremism. It could be persons with a deep hate or even fear for the ‘other side’ and spins intrigues to intimidate the other side to act with aggression. It could be the person that will do anything to achieve status in life. It could be corrupted persons that think they have something to gain by helping to create fears or at worst terrorism. It could be the reckless average individual that continues mistake after mistake and makes a shortcut to gain favors and knows someone that feeds information further to the wrong people about a potential recruit. The possibilities are endless in the madness of our times. I have known many of these and have seen how these people could spin up intrigues and player hating conditions in their surroundings without a hint of personal accountability and remorse.

The marginal difficulties of counter terrorism units of military and law enforcement to keep the public safe against terrorism, especially suicide bombers, distinguish a clear quagmire determined by civil rights, extent of corruption and surroundings of social behavior. Any deterrence or defense against threats by organized terrorist groups, secular violent groups, fringe groups or lone terrorists is dependent on the public or civilian perception of genuine accountability by governing bodies and at the same time the public’s or civilian ability to refrain from either unwitting or knowledgeable participation with supportive activities of extremism or terrorism.

As with cases I have been involved with or presented before authorities, and in many other cases and incidents of terrorism, civilians have often been an important but unwitting element of planning stages of terrorist acts.[3]

Call it a “Crash” or “Babel” scenario as depicted in the movies or reckless motives, using unwitting civilians as unknowing participants in planning stages of terrorist acts, much like PFLP-GC’s exploitation of the unwitting passengers on the planes they blew up in the 70’s, may contribute as a smoke screen for actual perpetrators due to the confusion it causes.

This especially applies to corrupt governments that use terrorism as a means to scare its citizens into obedience.

Social settings of self radicalized suicide bomber cells are sustainably a result of careless and reckless surrounding elements, combined with exploitation of radical idealism that defines the purpose for suicide bombers to act. Indications of unwitting collaborators often suggest highly idealistic, egalitarian or greedy motives for participation to help cells with cover or logistical support. There are also indications of varying personality disorders where a collaborator’s ability to make correct judgment calls to determine right from wrong and respect for governing laws is absent. Even deep obsessive love can trigger the beast of human acts to play parts in heinous acts. Poor judgment may be determined or influenced by social conditions prone to harbor rebellious or criminal favor. Fear factor and peer pressure is certainly one of the highest denominating factors of civilian participation or support. Regardless of all these characteristics by collaborators, there must be a goal of a political objective of the cell that enhances the overall cause for the act.

Unwitting prospects are certainly manipulated by perpetrators, supporters of terrorism or environments where political or religious fundamentalism has a sustained foundation for support- family members, friends or communal gatherings of people empathizing with a fundamental movement.[4] This does not necessarily reflect the fact that extremist manipulation is dependent on mass influence. Although masses in regions where dictatorship and occupation plays denominating roles and induce sympathetic endorsements but rational and conscious consent for suicide bombing is least likely. It would seem unusual that large masses would condone acts of terrorism and especially suicide bombings, but defines the measures of a suicide bombing as a valuable recourse against enemies with superior military capabilities. Indications of large masses condoning terrorism in areas of conflict are sustained by the presence of foreign occupation. However mass support is generally short phased relapses of anger and despair.

According to the profiles presented by the media from the suicide bombings in London and Madrid, suicide bombers such as those who perpetrated terrorism acts in England were not considered extremists or jihadists.[5] The bombers were in fact ordinary individuals and students from middle class families of moderate Muslim practitioners who were recruited or influenced no more than months prior to committing the act of the suicide bombings.

"The recruits who do the suicide attacks are mainly walk-in volunteers who only joined the group a few weeks before the attacks specifically to do the attacks," said University of Chicago Prof. Robert Pape.

"Most have no experience with violence until their very own suicide attack," said Pape, whose book, "Dying to Win: The Strategic Logic of Suicide Terrorism," is based on a research study of 462 successful suicide bombings since 1980.

What appears to contribute to idealistic anger and fortification of fundamentalist justification is deterrence of civil liberties and human rights by governing bodies especially in relations to corruption within government. Unjust ideals is by far an accelerator of fundamentalist violence fortifying the existence of terrorism, whether it be hard core groups or supporting bodies of social disruption than religious or political ideals. This supplies deep rooted humiliation factors during occupation of foreign military forces.

"Most would-be suicide bombers I have interviewed say they act to restore dignity to their real or virtual community, humiliated by military occupation," University of Michigan psychology Prof. Scott Atran said.

Political or religious ideals are only a sustaining factor for taking sides in battles of ideological justification. Before, during and after elections are often high seasons of suicide bombing attacks.

Suicide bombers are also non predictable as there are no distinct profiles to determine a stereotypical candidate. The London and Madrid bombers were or certainly appeared normally integrated into society and the leader of the London cell was actually a popular teacher.

To those who knew these young men, their acts of terrorism came as a surprise. Among the many questions by experts and media were if these bombers were surrounded by fundamentalists. There seemed to be strong affiliations to groups like Hizb uhr Tahrir and Muhajiroun that have been active in influencing many to join the Jihad movements. Although, the tragic incidents were labeled with Al Qaida as the source of planners, these young men may have initially acted on their own giving Al Qaida more credibility than they deserved leaving more unnecessary fear factors. Other reports have indicated that the apparent suicide bombers may have been duped to carry the back packs containing the bombs and have been set off remotely or unwittingly causing their own deaths along with other innocent bystanders.[7] This determines the vast difficulty by authorities in apprehending hard core suspects and clearly defining consistency in filtration processes from unwitting civilians to hard core members of a would be group of extremists. One may ask why western governments with advanced technology and expertise are unable to prevent these suicide bombings in the first place. Even though many acts of terrorism have been hindered, only in a dream world would we be able to filter out human social behavior factors of dissent and attrition, because reality is just not that simple.

Predicting or intervening in situations that indicate a terrorist threat is distinctly very difficult. Law enforcement is mostly reactive which means that they can only respond as long as a crime has been committed; therefore the likelihood of proactive intervention is minimal.

Law enforcement agencies around the world have become more proactive in their attempt to stop terrorism.

The dilemma is that when a terrorist act has been committed, the consequences outweigh the reactive processes of any investigation and too many mistakes are made as we have seen many times. This often undermines law enforcements credibility and effectiveness to meet the challenges of urban or metropolitan terrorist cells. This is why intelligence or special operations units or cells are usually more adapt at collecting intelligence and analyzing situations and can sustain proactive countermeasures leading up to possible terrorist acts.

Although government or military law enforcement and intelligence agencies are highly dependent on civilian cooperation and reporting of events and suspects leading to a high-risk situation, they are less eager to respond to critical situations despite their public claim. It is not so much that there is deliberate disregard to react, but too often subject to political agendas defining their ability to respond. Other reluctance for engaging potential high-risk situations is that pride and arrogant attitudes within these agencies is so contained and distraught that dissent for outsiders conducting observational reports regardless of their stance in society is just not accepted as viable or credible. They will simply treat you in the same manner as a whistleblower thereby losing the trust of civilians’ willingness to cooperate. The reluctance to work with civilians willing to help results in adverse methods and become compelled to use forceful methods of threats and torture to gather information from civilians. This is the quagmire that causes more rebellion among civilians by using these methods that are so counterproductive to goals with keeping the public safe.

When there are significant indications to suggest a terrorist attack or assassination attempt may occur and someone does intervene or exposes anyone in the planning stages, the result will most likely occur with abandonment of the terrorist operation.

Cases regarding indoctrination or self-inspired suicide bomber candidates leave too many open margins for detection. As mentioned previously, there are no specific profiles of how a suicide bomber candidate may emerge as due to changing social trends and ideals. There are a number of commonly agreed characteristics by many top experts of a candidate, events and circumstances that develop which gives credence to assessment models for immediate intervention processes before suicide terrorist acts occur.  The characteristics commonly shared by many top experts on suicide terrorists, including Scott Atran, Robert Pape, Reuven Paz, Marc Sage and other experts from Lebanon, Palestine, Pakistan and other countries where suicide bombings are more common, is based on Islamic Jihadist model in or from varying countries.

Note: These varying characteristics by these different experts are assessments of research and studies from each and sustain an open objective view of suicide bomber profile characteristics.

More than half of suicide bombers have been;

·         Young males between 20 to 30 years of age

·         Medium to high income families

·         Medium to high education

·         Non to moderately religious

·         Inspired by social network, media or internet

·         Situational conditioning by associates or social network of colleagues, family or friends.

·         Motives of secular and idealistic goals achieved by suicide terrorism

As a result of varying efforts to counter suicide terrorism by increasing security measures at check points, terrorist groups and self radicalized cells have often changed tactics and their own profiles using children, women and seniors who are less suspecting to carry out suicide bombing missions with or without their consent. There are indications of few suicide bomber candidates that have offspring from desperate and impoverished social conditions. However, experts have found no specific evidence that suicide bombings are a result of desperation or poverty.

According to Dr. Mark Sageman, a forensic psychiatrist and counter terrorism specialist, most suicide bombers are from middle class families and live within medium to high social standards. The editor of Al Watan, a Saudi Arabian daily, will call them “middle-class adventurers” rather than Islamist fundamentalist ideologues. [Boston Globe, 3/3/2002]

According to research commonly agreed by Scott Atran and Marc Sageman, suicide bombers are moderately to well educated and have inherently been radicalized or self radicalized in the west or as a result of the foreign policies of the west. The candidates, radicalized or self radicalized, must have sources of inspiration as a drive to commit suicide bombings. Al Muhajiroun and Hizb Ut Tahrir have been dominating sources of inspiration to fuel the idealistic anger candidates already seem to dwell on. These spiritual or motivational recruiters are simply like cheerleaders arousing possible candidates to follow through with their harbored and growing idealistic aggression to its fullest potential. Associates, friends or kin that recruit within their social settings are sustainably influential by ‘dragging’ their fellow mates into their plans like a ‘misery loves company’ context much like gangs recruit so-called friends. The exception is that candidates of suicide bombings become appealing because they have in some way already expressed a certain idealistic anger that complements recruiters or candidates already deeply involved with a jihadist movement or social conditions.

There has been growing evidence of recruitment of Jihadists at universities in Europe. Most of the 911 hijackers were college and university students and attended schools in England, France, Germany and the United States. Several of them had high degrees of education.

Anthony Glees from the Institute for Counter-Terrorism in his 2005 study "When Students Turn To Terror" described that recruitment of jihadists by Hizb ut Tahrir and al Muhajiroun occurred at 24 universities in England.

According to investigative reporter Alex Lewis, a conversation between the newspaper Asharq Alawsat and Omar Bakri Muhammed, the spiritual leader of Hizb Ut Tahrir and Al Muhajiroun, said that “more than 48 different universities in Britain were targeted, including Cambridge, Oxford, Durham, the LSE, Imperial College, Westminster University, and King's College.” Many of the other universities were located around Birmingham. Zacarias Moussaoui earned his degrees at Cambridge and South Bank university.

Omar Bakri, who now resides in Tripoli [Lebanon], was more than willing to confirm Anthony Glees’ research of recruitment at the universities by confirming recruitment at Oxford and other universities in England.

Anton Surikov and Butkevichius attended King’s College in 1994 and have been visiting scholars ever since.

Many of the leaders from independent cells seem to have offspring from various universities. Deeper investigative research has potentially exposed a pattern of particular universities where previous jihadists and suicide bombers have studied and earned degrees or where confirmed recruitment of jihadists has taken place.

IPROG’s associated ‘University Network’ is represented by several university associates, memberships, steering committee members that have had students turned jihadists and suicide bombers and “recruitment” on their campuses. This does not mean that this network of universities is responsible for producing terrorists but rather indicative that certain elements [rotten apples] of this network have motive and means to exploit existential profiling of potential recruits that are students attending these schools.

Anton S. [GRU], Ruslan S. [GRU], Chechen intelligence and former special instructor for Shamil Basaev and Ibn al Khattab], Audrius Butkevichius, Aleksei Likhvintsev, and also Valerii Lunev [GRU] and Alfonso Davidovich [FarWest Rep. Bogota, Colombia, associated to FARC] are all editorial board members of “Pravda-info.”[9] Surikov and Saidov are IPROG representatives with political and financial motives to exploit ‘assets’ or loyal patrons in place that can easily provide or pass on ideal information of individuals that fits descriptions of a potential extremist or suicide bomber. Anton Surikov confirmed that he helped Boris Kagarlitsky get his position as director of Moscow Institute for Globalization Studies (IPROG). Anton Surikov (Chair member) has confirmed that he serves as a staff member in IPROG. Intelligence in general is a cunning and deceptive field. Recruitment is a part of the intelligence establishment in any country and especially Russian and Eurasian intelligence agencies.

Anton Surikov’s partial job description while in the GRU was to look for or profile potential recruits. Surikov continued to sustain influence with the GRU. Surikov and Saidov’s continued activities with Chechen Obshina, Chechen Mujahideen and Al Qaida associated groups like Hizb Uhr Tahrir that have confirmed an established presence at these schools clearly enhance benefits with terrorism leaving them with solid motives to play a role in recruitment and selections of jihadists and suicide bomber recruits.

According to Yuri Yasenev “In the fall of 1997, Saidov arrived in Chechnya and joined Basaev and Khattab. He served as special operations instructor in the training center Said ibn-Abu-Wakas near Serzhen-Yurt, Chechnya.”[10]  Chechen Mujahedeen’s special operations also included suicide bombing operations like the Moscow Theatre siege.

Ruslan Saidov would also have vested interests in gathering recruit information due to his ties with Chechens, and other Al Qaida affiliated groups like HuT, Muhajiroun that can account for using or recruiting many suicide bombers.[11]

The students who committed terrorist acts or were arrested under terrorism charges in England attended several universities mentioned in Glees report which was confirmed by Hizb ut Tahrir (HuT) and Muhajiroun leader Omar Bakri. At least 8 of the universities mentioned, where HuT and Muhajiroun had a recruiting presence, were part of the University Network where IPROG is a member of a committee.

Jamal was recruited to a University in England that is in the same network committee as IPROG and where Hizb Ut Tahrir and Muhajiroun recruitments apparently took place. Jamal was working on an IT engineering degree. The campus of the university that Jamal attended is about 30 minutes from where watchdogs claim Muhajiroun had an enclave suspected of recruiting and training jihadists for suicide bombings for the war in Chechnya and elsewhere.

Appealing Recruit Characteristics

What would attract Middle East or Islamic extremist recruiters or manipulators, especially those who live in Europe, with intentions to indoctrinate potential suicide bombers to certain appealing characteristics among candidates? Why would Jamal be an attractive candidate?

Jamal is according to his own website and some of his family's social network considered to be an enthusiastic young man with a good future ahead of him and could make a positive difference. Therefore, extremely careful consideration was emphasized by the fact that there was no knowledge or indication that Jamal had personally sought or been affiliated with any fundamentalist group to my knowledge. However, due to his own expressions in his poems, growing indications of the Trollville group member’s relationship and intrigues with his father and uncle, at least three of their friend’s that established a network of associations to extremists that use suicide bombers – Surikov/Saidov network, Arfan Bhatti/KLA , and the multi-political motives of using Jamal as a suicide bomber sustained clear convictions that he was being targeted as a candidate. Further details of the concerns were based on:

·       Symbolic Humiliation; Norwegian-Muhammed Cartoons

Jamal 's emotional descriptions in his poems, contradictive to his positive image of a young man with a good future, strongly indicated many expressions of suicide martyrdom and destructive elements with honor, disgrace, dissent of western society and social climate. Many of these emotional expressions, written by Jamal in talented poetry, indicated similarities with Dante Alighieri. Jamal’s fascination with Dante Alighieri and the “Divine Comedy” approaches a pragmatic identity conflict between his father’s Muslim and mother’s Christian faith.

Dante Alighieris’ Divine comedy's Canto 28 of the inferno, describes with vivid manifestations of Dante Alighieri and Virgil condemning the Prophet Muhammed to hell.[13] Several Christian and Catholic painters, like Gustav Dore and Salvador Dale, illustrated Dante’s poem condemning Muhammed to hell in their paintings. This distinction collaborates with deep rooted conflicting sentiments between Muslim and Christian faiths and coincides with the intimidations rightwing or fundamental Christians in Europe and US purported. This was also coincided by the Danish rightwing newspaper Jyllands-Posten and Norwegian rightwing Christian ‘Magazinet’ republished pictures of Prophet Mohammed in the media to demonstrate ‘freedom of speech’. Many within Islam believed it was meant to antagonize Muslims and especially jihadists to respond with acts of violence.[14] This would allow the right wing elements to continue to fuel the fears of Islam and terrorism.

Scott Atran described to Reuters from his research that, "I think these groups are able to manipulate innate emotions ... in much the way the fast food and porn industry manipulate innate desires,"

Terrorism expert Jessica Stern, a public policy lecturer at Harvard University and author of "Terror in the Name of God," and Scott Atran agree that humiliation plays a substantial role in a candidate’s decision to become a suicide bomber.

The combination of Jamal’s interest in Dante Alighieris’ Divine comedy and his expressions of humiliations in his poems would make him a perfect symbolic candidate due to his Norwegian, North African and combined Sunni Muslim and Christian background and the exposure of prophet Muhammed in the Norwegian rightwing Christian ‘Magazinet’ making Jamal a symbolic candidate of both oppositions.

·   Poetic Messages of Martyrdom
The contents of his poems clearly expressed parallels to suicide martyrdom and given his ethnic North African background and innocence, Jamal would be entirely unsuspecting. A number of his ‘martyrdom’ poems that was readily available on the internet were clear and present expressions defining a sympathizing context to idealistic zeal.

The description in his poem Engender, could easily illustrate committing suicide for a cause in the eyes or interpretations of a jihadist or other intelligence. Jamal’s poems were in fact written from his thoughts of how he actually felt at the time.

Engender = synonyms; Cause, bring about, provoke, promote

Last sentence of the poem contained, “Now watch as I commit my engendering suicide”.

Other descriptions in his poems that metaphorically indicated a suicide bombing in mythological terms;

Mundus = Ruler, Earth, mother earth; or a pit thought to contain an entrance to the underworld.

Tempus = Father Time, the distinction of a time frame.

Ifrit = Firegod; Ifrit is a “Jinn of fire” in Arabic mythology mentioned in the Qur'an, Sura An-Naml (27:39-40). “The rare appearance of the term ifrit in the Quran (the sacred scripture of Islam) and in Hadīth (eyewitness narratives recounting Muhammad’s words, actions, or approbations) is always in the phrase “the ifrit of the jinn” and probably means “rebellious.” The word subsequently came to refer to an entire class of formidable, rebellious beings, but, in the confused world of chthonic (underworld) spirits, it was difficult to differentiate one from another. The ifrit thus became virtually indistinguishable from the mārid, also a wicked and rebellious demon. See also jinnī.” Wikipedia

This description of Ifrit, common among superstitious Muslims, especially jihadists, illustrates a spiritual jihadist or underworld Muslim rebel. It also depicts a suicide bomber during the act of blowing themselves up as can be depicted by the terms “Jinn of Fire” or “spirit of fire.” As mentioned earlier in the book Hawk of Pandora vol 1, Reuven Paz described how many Jihadists associate themselves with predecessors and spirits of the past (see pg 18).

Hizb ut Tahrir’s ideological approach is fixated on old and sacred traditions even before Prophet Muhammed’s time and are extremely fanatical to mythological beliefs such as with ancestors and stories of the Jinn as a being who cleanses the earth from all its evils. This may be why they allegedly recruit suicide bombers as a means to clean all other non believers or who are not pure in their faiths. Hizb Uhr Tahrir sees their deep Islamic faith as the only true and pure faith in existence. Jamal’s poems described an eerily close comparison to a purified belief expressed by Hizb ut Tahrir.

Several of Jamal’s other poems also depicted the same language that would attract the attention of people like Saidov, his associates in Hizb Ut/Uhr Tahrir or other assets he may have lurking around like the honey pots that had approached me whose job it is to also recruit or pick out young men like Jamal.

Another poem expressed deep emphasis on dying and “tire for constant bliss” (Bliss = paradise).

Before 911, one of the hijackers wrote a love letter to his wife he intended on leaving behind and which was very similar to this. Many of his poems described similar martyr like romantic messages to a woman and others of glorified death like a warrior or a martyrs death.

·      The Model Student Candidate

Jamal, an ethnic North African, born in a Nordic country, living as a student in England. Jamal, in his 20’s, is the older brother of two. Jamal’s father is also from North Africa and Sunni Muslim.
Note: Jamal's father had access to the Nobel Peace Process while working with an media and entertainment company responsible for musicians at the Nobel ceremony and concert.

Jamal is a gifted IT student with many more talents such as his poetry.

Sunday Times online reported; a network of “extremist recruiters” is circulating on campuses targeting people with “technical and professional qualifications”, particularly engineering and IT degrees. They range from foreign nationals now naturalized and resident in the UK, arriving mainly from North Africa and the Middle East.”

According to Pape’s findings, suicide bombers come disproportionately from among the largely secular and educated middle classes that aspire to freedom and greater opportunities, yet see their hopes stymied by corrupt dictators and one-party elites acting in collusion with U.S. oil and other interests.[18]

Innocence of Common Dismay

“The voice of the rebel is the common nature of humans instinct for freedom.”

Jamal in his own right was expressing views in his poems, which many have felt given so many unjust circumstances in modern society. Western society, especially the rightwing, has often contributed to an aggressive impression of forcefully changing other cultures for their suspected hidden agendas of war profiteering while sustaining unjust occupations. There are more than enough immoral issues to choose from yet endorsed as normal by our so-called civilized society in the west. The hypocrisy of the west for not cleaning their own mess while abusing other countries for oil and valuable resources through dictators, leaving many of these countries in despair and chaos is enough to get any deep thinking idealistic individual to profess rage and even violence.

On the other hand, there are certainly legitimate arguments of moral dismay that fuel western societies to act such as extreme human rights abuses. Within the hardliner elements of Islam, acceptance of extreme cultural arguments is abhorred in western society. Among them is the stoning of people, especially women after being gang raped, the acceptance of forced marriages and honor killings for refusing forced marriage or fighting for their right to choose a partner. Attacking schools and killing children that want an education. Girls ten years old and even younger being forced to marry grown up men would naturally fall under being pedophiles and absolutely detested by western civilization or any rational conscious human being. That aspect alone infuriates me! It is disgusting and disgraceful to force young girls to marry and have sex with someone against their will and especially with older men. These are just among the few repulsive and vile arguments that ignite western society for call to take action. Then again Christians and Catholics ministries seem to be plagued with pedophile problems too.

The freedom to choose is every human’s entitlement on this planet even under religious doctrines. Therefore, there are a number of clear arguments for intervention by civilized countries that are morally legit but refuted by hardliners in cultures where these abuses exist. But these moral calls to action are often tainted by corrupt double standards of western politics.

Often the result of intervention has been anything other than free democracies with death, poverty and mayhem in site. So naturally, there is widespread resentment towards western influence of foreign cultures. Regardless of the reckless influence the west may have, terrorism acts as a catalyst for the reckless decisions leaders of the west and other cultures make. It’s a cycle that flames itself. This may give credence to why there are unusually highly willing recruits in England and other European countries and the U.S. Their identity conflicts between cultures in collision. Deep resentments of hypocrisy flourish from the rotten political agendas of the west’s greater destruction in their homelands. Suicide bombers and those who aided and abetted that were caught in Great Britain have all been well integrated into the British system but morphed into violent ways of terrorism presumably on behalf of Islam. The catalyst or impetus for candidates intending to commit suicide bombing may very well be the unjust hypocrisies of both cultures engulfed in loyalty and divide. Many want the opportunities that western civilizations have to offer but find moral deviance in accepting progressive attritions that comes with it. Therefore divisional cultural confusion generates growing numbers in vulnerable candidates seeking identity. These concur with growing numbers of candidates from mixed Christian and Muslim families.

Terrorist groups or independent cells must influence recruits in order to sustain any efforts to achieve their agendas or goals. They need their soldiers or “martyrs” like any other group of militants or army. Whether influence or recruitment efforts comes in form of information through the internet, media or influence by associates, colleagues, group networks or so called friends, there are a number of social influential deficiencies to act as catalysts for recruitment or indoctrinations of potential extremists or suicide bombers. Combinations of the latter are certainly relevant.

Unfortunately the right to free speech can come with a price if one is not careful with the way we express ourselves. Jamal had unfortunately written his poems in a manner and at a time which would attract the negative influences interested in manipulating the type of vulnerable and open expressions Jamal provided openly on the internet. Maybe there was a clear point of dissent that coincided with the times, regardless of whether Jamal had innocent intents or not.

Nonetheless, there were several identifiable concerns and factors that conditioned the circumstances around Jamal that would severely place him as a candidate for manipulation and recruitment, especially when certain people in his father’s social network had ties to people looking for an excuse to profit from suicide bombings with direct connections to groups that are known to use suicide bombers.

The content of his poems clearly displayed synonyms and parallels to passages and material often found in extremist websites. These emotional descriptions from Jamal could be clearly interpreted as placing pheromone scents by a suicide bomber in heat for any recruiter to pick up his scents such as Surikov and Saidov’s friends in Chechen and al Qaida networks in the UK. The Trollville group and their close local network were not extremists but themselves profoundly reckless opportunists, criminally negligent and indifferent in their own choices of associations and relationships to a number of people with shady backgrounds. Nevertheless they set up the perfect circumstances and elements together that could have framed innocent people like Jamal, his father, family and others for disaster such as a home grown terrorist cell. This is why reporting and or burning the scheme around Jamal and his father would prevent them from becoming escape goats before the critical events of a potential attack had occurred.

As mentioned before Jamal is a vibrant student that has worked hard to get where he is and has built a constructive foundation for a positive and successful future. Jamal has made possibilities for himself thriving on his excellent abilities. Jamal, like many potential candidates may not be suspended by religious extremities but the deep thoughts that drive their abilities forward unfortunately absorbs the predators in society that think nothing of what these bright young individuals can achieve. Rather the predators of our society exploit them in the most abhorrent and destructive ways such as with suicide bombings for their own mad ideological, political or even financial agendas. Using innocent young men, or women, like these leaves victims, spectators and surroundings with horrific confusion and more dismay not knowing why and what this world is turning into. That mass confusion causes people to jump into rash and furious decisions much like the decisions to invade Iraq which many no bid international contractors- domestic and international- earned billions from. Perhaps that is the purpose of using young men or women as escape goats of destruction to create the ultimate intrigue and create smokescreens for their otherwise illegitimate commercial purposes and rotten political agendas.

Jamal’s poem’s as brilliant as they were and still deep and dark may not necessarily reflect his own actual intentions. We should all express what happens in our thoughts. It’s the gift of free speech and of self enlightenment. Being able to express ourselves in even the darkest moments of our thoughts can help us reflect upon our own existence and move on finding solutions to our issues. This is what I believe Jamal was initially doing by writing these deep thoughts in his poems. In many senses his reflections may have probably given him the motivation to achieve those successes. It was unfortunate that these people around him were careless with their actions and associations which could have misinterpreted Jamal’s intentions and exploited his emotions to their needs as in this situation a potential suicide bomber. It should be every person’s duty to protect these young gifted minds from predators who seek nothing but to corrupt what is good. If people want this world to be a better place, then we can never exploit, but enhance and nurture gifted young people into progressive and constructive paths that help make this world a better place for future generations. The reality is that this world is swarmed by predators of many different faces who exploit individuals like Jamal or the many talents that exist on this planet. The only way to burn Jamal as a candidate and save his life and others was to sustain a transparency with law enforcement and intelligence around his social network without destroying his life. The purpose of this book hopefully will concur to that transparency.

It’s not just the predators from the terrorist groups or the intelligence rogues but also those who play reckless and indifferent patronages to shady associations. It’s how they reflect negatively with adverse associations that sponsor pinnacles for caustic circumstances.

Leaving a transparent pattern to the networks that would have wanted to recruit Jamal meant that I had to make the heartbreaking decision to expose the people I cared for that was at the heart of creating these dangerous intrigues.

The group and their associations and the clique in Trollville became witting or unwitting important mediums of support between Jamal and people that are known to exploit terrorism to achieve financial gains like Surikov, Saidov and Bush and cheney's neoconservative cabal.

The war on terrorism is an industry that has become dependent on terrorism and conflict for the arms industry to collect profits.

Anton Surikov and Ruslan Saidov’s business engagements with Halliburton and Kellogg, Brown and Root would serve a purpose to strengthen Far West’s investments and would support Cheney’s seemingly dire need for more terrorism to influence rich countries and spread more fear for the neccesary obedience they needed. Cheney’s obsessively outspoken rhetoric about terrorism covered by the administrations cheerleaders of warmongers and profiteers seemed like he would have embraced the idea of a terrorist act such as a suicide bombing campaign in Europe to convince the wealthy European countries (like Norway) to add more resources with the “war on terrorism”. Cheney had clear political and financial motives to fight terrorism while earning the large revenues from supporting it behind the curtain. Due to Far West board members self claimed partnership with a U.S. company (KBR/Halliburton) and their alleged involvement in sales of Ukrainian cruise missiles to Iran, Cheney would have also embraced terrorist acts with ‘any’ connection to Iranian supported terrorist groups and exploited it in his quest against Iran like he did with the Iraq war.
